Autumn is a cheerful season for outdoor activities. If you are planning a trip to the Yunlong waterfall area recently, we advise you to put off your plan. For your safety, please do not enter this area for the time being.

Yushan National Park Administration Office issued an alert: due to a typhoon, large-scale rock-falls are found at several sections of the trail between Dongpu and Batongguan. Despite the efforts to restore the passages, rock-falls in smaller scales continued at 2.3K, 6.0K, 11.5K and 12.2K. Yunlong Waterfall is located at 4.0K of the trial and continuous rock-fall at 2.3K makes entering the path extremely dangerous. Alert of serious hazard has been issued. For your safety, please do not enter the Yunlong waterfall area recently.

Yushan National Park Administration Office said that the trail between Dongpu and Batongguan is a geological fracture zone with steep cliffs. Rocks come loose frequently and large-scale rock-falls are an unavoidable natural phenomenon. Please stay on high alert, rock-falls may occur at any time.
