National Parks of Taiwan

In March 2018, Yangmingshan National Park Headquarters published the soundscape CD Listen by the Pond. The CD is the work of nature writer and wilderness recordist Laila Fan; it features the recordings and nature prose she created beside Menghuan Pond in Yangmingshan National Park in 2017. Unlike past nature music creations, you will not hear any score or narration; these important, international-standard wetlands are depicted through natural sounds and text alone.

The soundscape CD Listen by the Pond will be sold in stores that distribute government publications, such as GB Books, Wunan Books, Sanmin Books, the Yangmingshan National Park Visitors Center, and 4 other visitor centers. Parts of Listen by the Pond have been posted to the international website Nature Sound Map (http://www.naturesoundmap.com/), letting everyone listen in on the silence of this National Park, letting the sound of nature cleanse the soul, and experience unprecedented, healing joy.  Publications
