2017 Taroko Canyon Music Festival Filled the Valley with Melodies, Seven Thousand People have Enjoyed the Canyon Music

 

 

The 2017 Taroko Canyon Music Festival debuted at the Taroko Terrance on October 28 with performances by local Hualien performing groups such as the “Wanrong Elementary School Choir,” “Posuo Dance Company,” “Full Indigenous Language Singer-songwriter Ado’ Kaliting Pacidal”, “New female singer-songwriter Xiao-Xiao Kuo”, “Best Bible Collection Yu-Chun Lin,” “Touch of the Light visual impaired pianist Yu-Siang Huang,” “Prince of Pan Flute Eric Chang,” “Quartet led by the Taipei Philharmonic Orchestra Lead Violinist Frank Lu,” and the vocal “Gili Singers.” The morning and afternoon performances have attracted at least 7,000 audiences.

The Minister of the Interior, Mr. Chun-Jung Yeh and Deputy Minister, Mr. Ching-Chun Hua are also present to participate in the extremely popular event. At the end of the event, the audiences were riled up and screamed “encore” nonstop. The crowd spent the wonderful Saturday afternoon together surrounded by the beautiful landscape and music, and the entire event ended amidst the sound of encore requests.
