A Visual and Audio Feast in Nature - the Beauty of Rocks and Water Along Shakadang Trail

Shakadang Trail is one of the most beloved trails in the Taroko National Park. The transparent rivers, beautiful rock formations, and thick forests are the highlights on the trail. Your eyes are met with beauty everywhere you look, while your ears can hear the flow of the water and the song of birds and animals. It is a visual and audio feast in nature.

During summer, from June 23 to September 2, 2 conservation volunteers will patrol Shakadang Trail daily to offer visitors information and remind visitors regarding trail safety. In particular, Shakadang River are closed to the public and the Taroko National Park Headquarters would also like to remind visitors to remain on the trail for safety and refrain from walking into the valley.
