Taroko National Park Headquarters Receives “16th Government Agency Archives Award”

The Taroko National Park Headquarters was nominated by the Ministry of the Interior to compete in the “16th Government Agency Golden Archives Award” competition hosted by the National Archives Administration of the National Development Council (NDC). After a preliminary evaluation and a second on-site survey and evaluation, the Taroko National Park Headquarters stood out and received the recognition of the “Golden Archives Award”.

This year, a total of 333 organizations competed in the Golden Archives Award, and 17 were awarded. The Taroko National Park Headquarters indicated that to be able to stand out from so many government agencies shows the importance placed on file management performance and recognition of its achievements.

Along with the evolution of file carriers and changes in file management from hard copy to electronic and multimedia formats, the file management of Taroko National Park Headquarters has received recognition from the judges committee for its professionalism, standardization, and digitization. The National Archives Administration also designated the Taroko National Park Headquarters as an exemplar the nation’s government agencies should strive to emulate. The Taroko National Park Headquarters more than happy to share its experience in the practical operations of file management.
