2The Wuling Visitor Center in Wuling Recreation Area at Shei-Pa National Park will be closed temporarily between 1 November 2016 and 30 June 2017 for the updating work on the exhibition hall.

According to Shei-Pa National Park Headquarters, after operating for over one decade, the display boards, pictures, and equipment in Wuling Visitor Center are old. Therefore, the headquarters will update the equipment and refurbish the center starting on 1 November 2016 in order to present the characteristics and style of Wuling Recreation Area in ways and with contents that better meet the Information Era and visitors’ needs. The work is expected to be completed on 30 June 2017.

According to Shei-Pa National Park Headquarters, during the construction period, visitors can visit the fish watching platform or Wuling Suspension Bridge on Wuling Road to see how the Formosan landlocked salmon (Oncorhynchus masou formosanus) removes sand, builds habitats, and mates or the Taiwan Salmon Eco Center to understand and see the ecology of the Formosan landlocked salmon.
