Snow season control will begin at Shei-pa National Park during January 1-March 31, 2017. Requirements for general mountaineering teams remain the same: six in a team, including the leader. Applications for training in snow will be limited to ten persons in a team and the eastern peak of Mt. Shei-pa. Park headquarters recommends foreign mountaineering teams to hire a local leader or a local mountaineering guide. Park headquarters also advises mountaineers to get prepared for mountaineering in show and bring adequate and appropriate equipment and apply for entry according to the relevant regulations. Please get prepared to enjoy the beauty of Mt. Shei-pa in the snow season.

Shei-pa National Park Headquarters will implement snow season entry control with reference to the total quantity control and route grading system. Applications will include general mountaineering applications and training in snow applications. Winter is getting close. Accidents will happen easily to mountaineers due to the low temperature and strong wind on the mountainside. Please get prepared before visiting Shei-pa National Park.
