In the Upcoming Snow Season, Make Coming Home the Reason for Your Adventure

The Shei-Pa National Park Headquarters will launch snow season services from January 3 to March 31, 2019 and replace controlled entry with the spirit of service and openness. This includes the Shengling Trail entry permit pilot application program, snow hiking guide qualification self-evaluation, and designated camp sites in glacial cirques for snow hiking training teams. During snow season, Shei-Pa National Park Headquarters still recommends hikers to properly create ascend plans, conduct risk evaluation, protect ecological resources, bring corresponding equipment, and make proper preparations for snow season entry. Hikers should climb up the mountain with coming home the reason for their adventure.

The rules of application for snow season entry will be in effect and can be divided into general applications and snowfield training applications. For more details on relevant rules, please go to the official website and download “Application Instructions for Entry Permit into Shei-Pa National Park Ecological Protection Area during Snow Season”.
