Kinmen Eurasian Otter Conservation Forum: Working together to protect otters

 

In order to better understand issues relating to the conservation and restoration of the Eurasian otter, as well as the application of national conservation strategies, we invite you to attend the Kinmen Eurasian Otter Conservation Forum, which will be held on July 27, 2018 at 1:20pm in Audio-Visual Room 1 of the Kinmen National Park Zhongshanlin Visitor Center. This event is hosted jointly by the Forestry Bureau of the Executive Yuan's Council of Agriculture, Taipei Zoo, Kinmen County Government, National Kinmen University, and the Kinmen National Park Headquarters.

Guests will include members of the International Union for the Conservation of Nature (IUCN) and otter experts from Germany, Poland, South Korea, Japan, Singapore, Taiwan, and the Netherlands. The aim of the forum is to discuss future plans and strategies for the conservation of the Eurasian otter. We invite all who are interested to come and join in the discussion, and work together with us to safeguard the future of the Eurasian otter. (Please note: a maximum of 155 guests can be accommodated, please register early to reserve a seat.)
