Eluanbi Park Tests Bicycle Tickets Bicycles Are Now Allowed to be Pushed in the Park to the Lighthouse

Eluanbi Park, under the jurisdiction of the Kenting National Park (KNPHQ), is a popular tourist attraction. However, the number of domestic tourists decreased greatly due to the COVID-19 pandemic. To encourage the public to visit and cooperate with Taiwan Cycles 2021, the Ministry of Transportation and Communications has promoted a new policy; cyclists can now purchase entry tickets to the park and push their bicycles in to take photos in front of the Eluanbi Lighthouse. The trial period will run from February 1, 2021 to December 31, 2021.

Eluanbi Park, surrounded by mountains and sea, is lined with coves and capes. There are jagged rocky cliffs, magnificent sea-eroded terrain, soft white sandy beaches, as well as a vibrant marine ecosystem. The area has also help Austronesian culture and history flourish. Thanks to its uniqueness, the park can serve both as a nature classroom as well as an all-round tourist attraction.

The KNPHQ would like to remind cyclists to follow the designated bicycle trail routes after entering the park, and park their bicycles in the bicycle rack next to the Eluanbi Lighthouse. Due to safety concerns, bicycles are not permitted on other park trails.
