Kinmen National Park Eco-bike Stroll Event

The Kinmen National Park Management Office is anticipated to hold the “2017 Bicycle Shangri-La” themed event on November 11 to continue its advocation for the friendly bicycling environment of Kinmen. This is not a race or a timed competition. Participants can simply enjoy the beautiful natural environment of Kinmen and submerge in Kinmen’s rich cultural heritage and ecological beauty.

In addition to the A and B routes, this year’s event also plans to increase the A+B route. The A and B event routes will both depart from the Forest Bike Story Museum of Kinmen National Park. The A route encircles the entire Kinmen island in a counterclockwise direction, and route B comprises the western half island plus the Lieyu island. Both A and B routes end at the Zhongshanlin Visitor Center.

Citizens over the age of 13 may participate in this event, and 600 people will be accepted (500 people for the A route Include 50 people for the A+B route and 100 people for the B route). A special commemorative cycling shirt is made for this event and will be passed out to the participating cyclists. You are welcome to apply and participate.
