Registration Opens for the 2019 "Finding the Future Star of Yangmingshan" Youth Training Camp!

Are you passionately interested in ecology, humanities, cultures, education, and service provision? We’re looking for exceptional future stars of environmental education, and we welcome you to join the very first Yangmingshan Youth Training Camp!

The Youth Training Camp combines theories and practices whilst adopting the "4+2" training model - 4 days spent in classes; 2 days spent on service-learning. A student will become an intern lecturer after passing the examination on classes and service training. The systematic training allows students to learn through practices and develop their own strengths. They may also explore their career development through work experiences.

The program is scheduled on May 4 - May 5 and May 25- May 26 (four days of theory classes); and any 2 days between June and October in 2019 will be selected for their service training to take place. Target participants: young people between 18 and 30 years old (born between 1989 and 2001) who are interested in ecological conservation, environmental education, outdoor activities, and social service. The training activities are free of charge, but a deposit of NT$500 is required. The deposit will be returned when the student has attended the entirety of the training.
