Taroko Volunteer Guide Gives In-depth Description of the "A Date with Tienhsiang" Event – Participation is Free and Welcomed

Every month, the Taroko National Park Headquarters’ Tienhsiang Service Station hosts "A Date with Tienhsiang", where docents guide visitors to deeply explore the nature and culture of the Tienhsiang area.

Specially arranged for the summer holidays, the "Guess What You Found" tours for parents and children are held on July 6 and August 3. "Splendid Baiyang" is held on September 7, where visitors get an in-depth exploration of the vegetation and geology of the Baiyang Trail. On October 5, visitors will go on a guided tour through the century-old Lushui Trail. And on November 9, visitors will visit the To-yu-en Village, a former site of the Truku Tribe located above Lushui.

These activities are completely free of charge, and visitors do not need to sign up in advance. Simply assemble at the specified time and location to sign up to join the tour. Each tour is limited to 30 to 40 participants. The activities starts at 9:00 AM and ends at 4:00 PM. Participants only need to prepare lunch, water, and rain gears to enjoy a tour that’s both intellectually and emotionally stimulating.
