National Parks of Taiwan

The 2018 WildView - National Park International Film Festival will be showing a total of 40 films for free: 20 award-winning national park films and 20 award-winning films shown during the 8th WildView Taiwan Film Festival in association with Wildscreen (UK).

The film festival has planned 645 film viewing sessions, and will co-host international film festival-themed activities with the National Taiwan Museum, the National Museum of Natural Science, the National Taiwan Science Education Center, and the National Science and Technology Museum. The films will be shown in various national parks and metropolitan parks. NGOs, communities, schools and local exhibition locations are also welcome to apply for showings.

In coordination with the marine-themed films of the festival, there will be an environmental education event "Plastic-Free National Park". The event will have lively storytelling performances on a decorated stage and Q&A prize sessions for the private company-sponsored picture book "Brighter Minds for a Brighter World - The Adventures of Young Guardians" to raise awareness for reduction of plastic in daily lives.
