Yushan National Park re-opens applications for long-distance hiking routes from 1 May 2017 and urges visitors beware of hiking safety!

Yushan National Park Headquarters will re-open long-distance hiking routes of the park from 1 May 2017, including Batongguan, Xiugulian, South Section II, and Mabolasih Hiking Route, running across the ecology protection areas.

As these routes are tough and non-routinely maintained, Yushan National Park Headquarters urges visitors to apply for entry in accordance with the park entry requirements, prepare all gears well, and ensure they are physically fit. When travelling on these routes, visitors should pay attention to the road condition and weather in the mountain at all times to ensure personal safety. Park headquarters will also post the latest condition (including photos) of these routes on the park website for the public to make judgments. Please visit the park website at http://www.ysnp.gov.tw for details.
