National Parks of Taiwan

Shei-Pa National Park will host the Children's Story & Illustration Creation Winter Camp event at the Wenshui Visitor Center on January 21-23 and March 9, 2019. 4th to 6th graders who love writing stories and drawing illustrations are welcome to sign up and participate.

Activities include nature story reading, storyboard design and practice, learning the philosophy of nature picture book creation, illustration and creative writing, the methods and skills of picture book writing, and other lessons. These activities are expected to increase elementary school students’ knowledge of national parks, and improve their imagination and creativity by encouraging care and love for the natural environment. The 4-day camp activities are also expected to provide the children with an opportunity to share and exchange with each other while learning the wisdom of loving nature, offering a special experience that will enrich their winter vacation.
