Jhaishan Tunnel is located at the southwestern side of Kinmen, and has been opened to the public since 1998 after renovation by the Kinmen National Park Management Office. The Kinmen National Park Management Office has also held regular Jhaishan Tunnel music festivals each year that have significantly enhanced the popularity of Jhaishan Tunnel domestically and internationally, and turning it into a must visit tourist attraction site in Kinmen.

The Jhaishan Tunnel Ocean View Trail has been renovated. The trail entrance starts from the weapon exhibition area that connects to the tunnel inlet. The length of the entire trail is 420 meters, and there are shady trees as well as wild birds and flowers along the both sides of the trail. Visitors can see the blue sea at 300 meters into the trail or even witness dolphins, which is sure to be a relaxing and joyous experience. The Ocean View Trail is open to visitors starting today.
