Explore Taijiang with the Black-faced Spoonbill– Free Test Ride of the Green Transportation and Green Building Tour

Taijiang National Park Headquarters will soon be hosting a test-ride aboard an electric bus! Guests can travel around the park for free and take part in a stamp-collecting activity. Stamps collected can be exchanged for a free gift! The purpose of this event is to encourage park visitors to make use of green energy, low-emissions transport methods when visiting Taijiang National Park.

The event will be divided into two stages: Stage 1 will take place from Thursday, July 28, 2018 until Tuesday, July 31, 2018. Stage 2 will begin on Thursday, August 9, 2018, and run until Sunday, August 12, 2018. Each day, the first electric bus will depart from the Old Julius Mannich Merchant House Square, passing through Taijiang Campus and Sicao Dazhong Temple before looping back around to Taijiang Campus and terminating at the Old Julius Mannich Merchant House Square. Guests are free to embark and disembark at any station en route.

Additionally, volunteer tour guides will be present on Saturdays and Sundays to introduce the diamond-grade green energy building and provide an explanation of the design principles and concepts used in its construction. These guided tours will start at the following times: 9:30am, 10:30am, 11:30am 2:30pm, 3:30pm, and 4:30pm.
